Weather
Due to its subtropical location, Hong Kong's weather is generally mild in winter and hot and humid in summer, with an average annual rainfall of 226 centimetres (89 inches). Late September to early December is very pleasant with clear, sunny skies and lower humidity levels. January and February are the coldest months, yet it is still a pleasant time of year. In the spring, the temperatures and humidity start to rise. By summer, temperatures can reach the 30s (90s).
